  • Patent number: 7631522
Abstract: The washing machine comprises a support structure in which is suspended a washing chamber in which a laundry drum is mounted to be rotatable, and in which a detector is provided, capable of providing electrical signals indicating the level of the washing liquid in the chamber. The detector comprises an inductive transducer including a coil and an associated core, the relative position of which is variable according to the level of the washing liquid such that the inductance of the coil varies accordingly. The inductive transducer is coupled to the laundry drum in such a way that the inductance of the coil is variable also according to the weight of the load contained in the drum.

  • Publication number: 20070216168
Abstract: Locking device for a moving element, particularly for a drum of a top-loading washing machine. The locking device (20) for retaining a moving element (5) in a predetermined position, particularly a drum (5) of a top-loading washing machine (1) in a loading/unloading position of the drum (5), comprises a casing (21) in which is mounted a catch (22) which is slidable in a guided way between an outward position and a retracted position, in which it can, respectively, lock and release the moving element (5), and which is associated with first opposing resilient means (27) tending to move it to the outward position. The casing (21) also includes locking members (32, 33) which in an operating condition can move the catch (22) to the retracted position and retain it there, and release members (34) which in an operating condition can make the locking members (33) move to a release condition in which they allow the catch (22) to return to the outward position.

  • Patent number: 7180285
Abstract: The transducer (1) comprises: a rigid casing (2–4) in which a membrane (5) is clamped which, together with a portion of the casing (2–4), defines at least one chamber (6, 7) of variable volume; at least one winding (14); an interaction element (13), able to interact magnetically with the winding (14) under the effect of a displacement of the membrane (5), in such a way that the inductance of the winding (14) is variable in dependence on the relative position of the interaction element with respect to the winding (14), and circuit devices (17) connected to the winding (14) and operable to supply electrical signals of which one parameter, frequency for example, is variable in dependence on the inductance of the winding (14); the said circuit devices (17) including a memory (22) operable to store data representative of corrective values which, when applied in operation to the effective instantaneous values of the said parameter, make it possible to obtain correct values of the parameter corresponding to a predet

  • Patent number: 6874372
Abstract: The device comprises a tubular stator intended to be fixed in a pipe, so as to be traversed, in use, by said stream of fluid, and in which there is axially mounted a rotor which has a central hub from which extends a plurality of blades and which is capable of being operated in rotation by said stream, like a turbine, at a velocity variable according to the flow rate, and at least one permanent magnet integral with the rotor, disposed eccentrically with respect to the axis of rotation of said rotor. Fixed to the hub of the rotor is a shaped support bush mounted rotatable about a fixed pin or shaft which extends, projecting in the opposite direction to the operational direction of flow of the stream, from a central support integral with the axial outlet portion of the stator. The magnet is held in a housing defined between the support bush and the rotor.
