  • Patent number: 4869416
Abstract: A transporting and positioning method and an apparatus therefore utilizable in an assembly line. A first member is positioned at a first predetermined position while a second member to be connected together with the first member is positioned and held at a second predetermined position. The second member is then transported to a third predetermined position defined immediately above the first predetermined position. The second member so transported to the third connected together by, for example, spot-welding effected to the outer peripheral edges of the first and second members overlapping with each other.

  • Patent number: 4684763
Abstract: A hermetically sealable package for electronic component comprising a metallic base member and a metallic lid member, in which the metallic base member has lead wires penetrating therethrough under insulation. The base member or lid member is provided on its periphery with a protrusion for welding. The protrusion can be terraced. The sealing can be made by an independently prepared sealing member to be inserted between the sealing area of the base member and the sealing area of the lid member. The protrusion or the sealing member can be prepared by an etching technology.

  • Patent number: 4669939
Abstract: A workpiece charging unit for a walking beam furnace has an entry table and a charging conveyor positioned exteriorly and interiorly of the entry end opening of the furnace. The charging conveyor can undergo a movement along a generally rectangular path for the receipt of the workpiece from the entry table and for the subsequent transfer of the workpiece onto the fixed beams or rails within the heating chamber where it can be picked up by the walking beam conveyor unit for the passage through the heating chamber. The charging conveyor includes charging beams, a plurality of support posts for the support of the charging beams and frame structure coupled with the horizontal and vertical drive mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 4275161
Abstract: L-.alpha.-glycerophosphate oxidase can be produced by culturing Aerococcus viridans IFO-12219 or Aerococcus viridans IFO-12317. It is useful for analysis for L-.alpha.-glycerophosphate, because it catalyzes the reaction of L-.alpha.-glycerophosphate and oxygen to form dihydroxyacetone phosphate and hydrogen peroxide.

  • Patent number: 4033017
Abstract: The component parts of a hermetically sealed terminal is a terminal plate made by utilizing chemical etching technique, lead wires, a glass material and an outer frame. All component parts are assembled in moulds, and hermetically sealed by one heating process. After heating process is over, unnecessary parts of the terminal plate are broken off to divide a separate terminal.
