  • Patent number: 5788219
Abstract: A throttle valve is disposed in a handle of an air tool. The throttle valve includes a throttle trigger provided on the handle of the air tool, and a throttle pin which is fixed to the throttle trigger and adapted to axially move when the throttle trigger is operated. A valve stem having a head portion is coupled with the throttle pin. A valve bush is press-fit into a shoulder portion provided inside the handle on which the head portion of the valve stem rests. A spring is provided to urge the head portion of the valve stem to contact the valve bush and to allow the valve stem to tilt when the throttle pin axially moves. This structure makes it possible to provide airtightness between the shoulder portion and the head portion of the valve stem by a simplified machining. In addition, the airtightness can be maintained for a longer period of time compared to the case of using a washer made of Teflon.

  • Patent number: 5615395
Abstract: A used lens-fitted photo film unit has a photo film containing section and a front cover. The photo film containing section has a first retaining hook. The front cover has a second retaining hook. The second hook is retained on the first hook, and couples the front cover to the photo film containing section. In a disassembling station, the photo film unit is set in a predetermined orientation. An access plate is advanced toward the photo film unit. The access plate flexes the first hook apart from the second hook, and disengages it from the latter. The access plate is retracted while the front cover is captured by the access plate, thereby to remove the front cover from the photo film containing section. In a preferred embodiment, a flash device from the used photo film unit is supported so as to face upward a flashing face of the flash device. Cleanser liquid is sprayed on the flashing face. Cleaning tape comes in contact with the flashing face.

  • Patent number: 5115961
Abstract: An apparatus and process for attaching a liner to a shell of a magnetic disk cartridge. A cover is provided that covers at least a portion of the liner and shell when in an attachment position. The cover has blow-out holes which are positioned around the periphery of the welding head of a welding device. Pressurized air is introduced into the blow holes so as to lift out any dust located in the vicinity of the half shell. An exhaust hole is provided in the cover for removal of the dust by virtue of a suction device.

  • Patent number: 5083654
Abstract: A parts feeder for feeding a plurality of parts along an annular conveyance path and a linear conveyance path connected to the annular conveyance path comprises an adjustment device which is provided midway along the annular conveyance path and which adjusts the parts, and a fill detector which is provided midway along the linear conveyance path and which detects filling of the linear conveyance path with the parts and generates a fill signal in order to stop parts feed to the linear conveyance path when the linear conveyance path is filled with the parts. A compressed air feeder is located in the vicinity of the adjustment device. The compressed air feeder blows compressed air against at least the parts located at the adjustment device in order to remove the parts from the adjustment device while the parts feed to the linear conveyance path is being stopped.
