    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a heat resistant plastic vessel including: injection molding a preform; primary stretch blow molding the preform to obtain a primary blow-mold object; heat-shrinking the primary blow-mold object; and secondary stretch blow molding the heat-shrunk object to obtain a secondary blow-mold object as a heat-resistant plastic vessel. In the primary stretch blow molding process, a concavity is formed on a body of the primary blow-mold object. The concavity has a thickness larger than the other body portion. In the heat-shrunk object, the large thickness portion has a lower heat retaining capacity than the other body portion. The heat-shrunk object then undergoes the secondary stretch blow molding process, thereby obtaining the secondary blow-mold object, which has a large thickness portion corresponding to the concavity of the primary blow-mold object to assure high mechanical strength such as buckling strength of the final product.

    Abstract: A thin film magnetic head having two conductor layers provided within a magnetic circuit constituted by a first and a second magnetic member. The magnetic circuit has, at the side to which a recording medium is opposed, a portion where the first and second magnetic members are opposed to each other over a length substantially equal to a gap depth, intervening a non-magnetic gap member therebetween, and a portion ahead thereof where they are connected with each other. The edge of the gap member constitutes an aperture of the magnetic circuit. The thin film magnetic head arranged as above permits a high density recording without reducing its production yield.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a thin film magnetic head having a structure wherein the main portion of a coil consists of a copper or copper alloy layer and its upper surface is covered with a thin film mask consisting of titanium, titanium oxide, chromium and/or chromium oxide. The magnetic head of the invention can prevent the occurrence of projecting etching residues at the upper edge portion of the coil and can easily increase the cross-sectional area and the winding density of the coil. Furthermore, when the thin film mask consists of titanium and/or titanium oxide, a titanium diffusion prevention film consisting of chromium, for example, is interposed between the thin film mask and the copper or copper alloy, so that the resistance change of the coil scarcely takes place owing to heat treatment in a production process after the formation of the coil and the head reliability can be further improved.

    Abstract: A reclining seat mechanism including a seat bracket carrying a seat cushion and a seat back plate mounted on the seat bracket for swinging movement about a shaft and carrying a seat back. A tilting angle adjusting mechanism is provided for adjusting the tilting angle of the seat back. The adjusting mechanism is provided with a tilting angle memorizing mechanism for mechanically memorizing the tilting angle of the seat back so that the memorized position can be restored when the seat back is once folded forward and returned to the tilted position. The memorizing mechanism can be actuated by the same actuating lever as the tilting angle adjusting mechanism.

    Abstract: A thin-film magnetic head having a magnetic core of double step structure and a method of fabricating it. A first magnetic core is formed on a substrate, which has a predetermined thickness at a pole chip region thereof and a thickness larger than the predetermined thickness at a back region thereof; a magnetic gap is formed thereon, a conductor coil is formed on the magnetic gap, which is encircled by an inter-layer, insulating film; a first magnetic film is formed thereon, which constitutes one layer of a second magnetic core and is connected with the first magnetic core at the back region; and a second magnetic film is formed thereon through an inorganic insulating film, which constitutes another layer of the second magnetic core and is removed at the pole chip region. When the second magnetic film is removed, the inorganic insulating film serves to protect the first magnetic film, and hence the thickness of the first magnetic film is maintained unvaried.

    Abstract: A locking mechanism for a vehicle seat having a seat cushion and a backrest is disclosed. The locking mechanism includes of a bracket fixed to the vehicle floor and provided with an elongated vertical groove. A locking pin fixed to the seat cushion is guided in the elongated groove of the bracket. A first latch is pivotably mounted on the bracket and provided with an engaging groove engageable with the locking pin, as well as a projecting portion and a sliding face. A second latch is pivotably mounted on the bracket and is provided with a recessed portion engageable with the locking pin, as well as a cam surface engageable with the projecting portion of the first latch. The engaging groove of the first latch is urged into engagement with the locking pin by a first spring while the recessed portion of the second latch is urged into engagement with the locking pin by a second spring. A wire is engaged between the backrest and the first latch.

    Abstract: A stepwise seat slide adjuster for vehicles includes a stationary lower guide rail adapted to be mounted to a vehicle floor, an upper guide rail adapted to be mounted to a vehicle seat and capable of a longitudinally sliding movement relative to the lower guide rail, a manually operated lever having a first pawl pivotally supported on the upper guide rail and releasably engaging any one of the latch teeth formed along the longitudinal edge of the lower guide rail, and a second pawl actuated in response to the release action of the manual lever which disengages the first pawl from the tooth with which it engages, so that the first pawl can backward stepwise slide to a latch tooth which corresponds to a selected seat position and engage with the tooth.
