Abstract: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate certifying Forward Link Only (FLO) mobile devices. According to various aspects, systems and/or methods are described that facilitate simulating a FLO network to enable device qualification, certification, testing, measuring, etc. Such systems and/or methods may employ a captured asynchronous serial interface (ASI) stream that may be utilized to recreate FLO network conditions existing at a time of data capture.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for collecting and managing billable information in a group communication system such as a push-to-talk (PTT) dispatch system. A local node collects the billable event data associated with the group communication and stores it in a flat file database. The billable event data is forwarded from the local node to a centralized node in accordance with a forwarding scheme where it is stored in a more robust relational database.

According to various aspects, systems and methods are described that facilitate remotely controlling media device(s) that operate in connection with broadcast and/or multicast transmission(s) with limited or no reverse link (e.g., employing Forward Link Only (FLO) technology, . . . ). Such systems and methods may monitor various service issues, device performance, network performance, and the like.
