  • Patent number: 9690260
Abstract: A method adjusting oscillation frequency of a sprung balance assembly formed at random from balance springs and balance wheels. A production mechanism is set to limit a sample standard deviation of a single batch of balance springs to a predetermined maximum value, and to limit a sample standard deviation of a single batch of balance wheels to a predetermined maximum value within a given unbalance tolerance. The mean of the balance population is classified according to the mean of the balance springs, to obtain a difference corresponding to a maximum inertia decrease value of the balances, between extreme gaussian distribution values of balances and of balance springs. A random balance spring sample is taken from the single batch of balance springs and a random balance from among the single batch of balances. The inertia of the balance is adjusted according to a torque value of the balance spring sample.

  • Patent number: 8961002
Abstract: An assembly for an escapement of a timepiece movement (100), including an escapement bridge (10), a balance cock (30), a pallet lever (7) for controlling an escapement wheel (6) in cooperation with a balance (3). This escapement bridge (10) carries a bottom pallet lever bearing (14) for guiding a bottom pallet lever pivot (15) of this pallet lever (7), and this cock (30) carries a top pallet lever bearing (14A) for guiding a top pallet lever pivot (15A) of this pallet lever (7). An arm (41) of this pallet lever (7) carries a banking pin (39) which can move in a hole (40) comprised in this balance cock (30), to limit the pivoting of this pallet lever (7).

  • Patent number: 8641268
Abstract: Platform escapement assembly (1) comprising a balance (3) with a roller (4), a balance spring (5), and escape wheel (6) controlled by a pallet lever (7) cooperating with said roller (4). An escapement bridge (10) comprises, on both sides of a bottom surface (11), first (20) and second (21) spacers respectively comprising first (22) and second (23) bearing surfaces for receiving first (24) and second (25) complementary surfaces of a balance cock (30) on both sides of a top surface (11A), and said top surface (11A) is more flexible in bending than said bottom surface (11), so as to allow mobility, as a result of a perpendicular force applied to said top surface (11A), of said first complementary surface (24) relative to said first bearing surface (22) when said second complementary surface (25) is locked in position on said second bearing (23) surface.

  • Patent number: 8425110
Abstract: The invention relates to a silicon-based Breguet overcoil balance spring (1, 31) that includes a hairspring (3, 33) made integral coaxially with a collet (5, 35), a terminal curve (7, 37) and an elevation device (9, 39) between the outer coil (15, 45) of the hairspring and the terminal curve. According to the invention, the balance spring has two single parts secured to each other to increase the development precision of the balance spring. The invention also relates to the method of manufacturing the balance spring. The invention concerns the field of timepiece movements.
