    Abstract: A system and method are provided for generating client-side virtual radio stations. The method comprises: receiving server-supplied radio stations at an network-connected radio service client; establishing radio filter characteristics; analyzing the server-supplied radio stations using the filter characteristics; generating a client-side virtual radio station service; supplying the virtual radio station service from a virtual radio station; and, presenting the virtual radio station services on a client-side user interface. The radio filter characteristics may be established using automatic, semi-automatic, or manual selection mechanisms. For example, characteristics may be selected automatically, as learned from an analysis of a user's past and present behavior. The radio filter characteristics may include criteria such as musical genre, song title, artist information, or server source, to name just a few.

Typically, collecting data from the first and second group of pixels includes the performance of a mathematical operation. For example, a matrix may be defined for the multiplication of the first group of pixels. Values of pixels on a first side of the coordinate axis may be subtracted from pixels on a second side of the coordinate axis, opposite of the first side. Then, the difference is compared to a threshold.

The method comprises: establishing an interface between an IM network server and an IM master client identified with a first username; establishing a reflector service between the IM master client and an IM peer client; and, identifying the IM peer client with the first username. That is, IM messages associated with the first username are routed via the IM master client. Alternately stated, IM messages are communicated between the IM network and all IM clients identified with the first username. More specifically, communicating IM messages with all IM clients identified with the first username includes: the IM master client receiving IM messages from the IM network, addressed to the first username; and, the IM master client distributing the IM messages to IM peer clients identified with the first username, via the reflector service.

    Abstract: A multifunction peripheral configured to display instructional streaming videos or multimedia includes an error generator, print controller, address generator, client system, and display. The error generator is for generating at least one multifunction peripheral error signal in response to a multifunctional peripheral error or user request. The print controller receives the multifunction peripheral error signal and passes it to the address generator that generates an address based on the multifunction peripheral error signal. The client system then passes the address to an internal or external server system that returns the requested video or multimedia to the client system. The video or multimedia is then displayed on the display. Exemplary multifunctional peripheral errors include simple maintenance problems, everyday problems associated with basic maintenance and servicing, and technical problems including initial installation and field upgrades of hardware and software.
