  • Publication number: 20250147925
Abstract: A secure data storage management “recovery system” operates in a cloud computing environment that is apart from a source system and source data being protected. A “recovery manager” in the cloud computing environment is responsible for restoring secondary copies that were generated by the source system. The recovery manager gains knowledge (metadata) about the secondary copies by restoring, for its own use, a management database of, and backed up by, the source system. The recovery manager initiates out-of-place restores of the secondary copies to “recovery clients” in the recovery cloud. The recovery system restores, to the recovery cloud, secondary copies from any cloud platform and/or from non-cloud data centers, including secondary copies stored locally, off-cloud by the source system. The recovery manager comprises new features that enforce its isolation from the source system and they act to protect the integrity of the secondary copies generated by the source system.

  • Publication number: 20250151312
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to semiconductor processing methods and semiconductor components obtainable by applying the semiconductor processing methods. One example method includes providing a substrate formed of a first semiconductor material. The method also includes providing a mesa structure on the substrate and in direct contact with the substrate. The mesa structure is isolated on all lateral sides by dielectric material. Active layers of a semiconductor device are integrated in an upper portion of the mesa structure. Additionally, the method includes producing one or more openings through the dielectric material. Further, the method includes forming a cavity by removing a bottom portion of the mesa structure through the one or more openings or removing the dielectric material in a region directly adjacent to the bottom portion of the mesa structure. In addition, the method includes obtaining a thermally conductive volume by filling the cavity with a material of high thermal conductivity.

  • Patent number: 12285373
Abstract: A patient support apparatus and a method of notifying persons within a vicinity of the patient support apparatus are disclosed. The patient support apparatus includes a patient support structure for supporting a patient, an actuator for moving the patient, a notification system, and a controller coupled to the notification system and the actuator. The controller receives a selection of a remote control function via a communication network, generates a notification in response to receiving the selection of the remote control function, and transmits an output signal to the actuator based on the selection of the remote control function. The notification system executes the notification prior to the controller transmitting the output signal to the actuator.

  • Publication number: 20250131423
Abstract: A system and method for enabling dynamic expiration dates in a payment card. An algorithm executes on a computing device to create a private blockchain that is controlled by an inquiry block exchange. A payment card holder (PCH) metablock is generated when a first payment card issuer creates a PCH profile. This PCH profile is maintained within a security zone on the network. The security zone comprises multiple modules. These modules include a dynamic smart contract (DSC) execution engine module for generating a DSC hash value that identifies the DSC for the PCH profile metablock. A hyper-ledger fabric module enables dynamic parameters to be stored as an asset in the DSCs. A metablock generator module creates a PCH profile metablock and hashes the data in a subscribed hashing algorithm. The hashed data includes private keys and cryptographic keys in a secured element section of the PCH profile metablock.

  • Publication number: 20250125842
Abstract: Systems and methods described provide a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) optimization service. A network device in a RAN predicts high usage thresholds and available per-service resources for supporting MIMO transmissions. The network device identifies, based on the predicted usage thresholds, user equipment (UE) devices that have a high-throughput session and have high usage levels on a cell. The network device assigns, based on the predicted available per-service resources, sounding reference signal (SRS)-based MIMO resources to the UE devices in the cell and assigns codebook-based MIMO resources to other UE devices in the cell.

  • Publication number: 20250117274
Abstract: In conventional networked computing systems, stream-processing software is utilized to handle real-time data feeds. For example, a stream-processing software may sort incoming data feeds into data logs, which are then consumed by various application servers within the computing system. However, this consumption process is susceptible to failure as application servers often fail to consume a full payload of data comprising a particular message. As such, a need exists for a streaming architecture with improved fault tolerance. The system provided herein solves the problem via a reliable streaming process, which regularly generates partitions within a series of data lakes. As streaming data is received, the payloads are synced into the different data lakes based on metadata associated with the streaming data. The system can then perform individual quality checks on each partition of data, enabling the system to continuously monitor data quality over time.

  • Publication number: 20250086528
Abstract: Techniques for commissioning of monitoring resources are disclosed. A transportable unit identifier (TUI) for each of a plurality of transportable units is determined. Each of the transportable units has a set of discrete transportable units associated therewith. A discrete unit identifier (DUI) linked with the set of discrete transportable units of each of the transportable units is then retrieved. A set of condition parameters, required to be monitored for the set of discrete transportable units, is determined for each DUI. One or more transportable units having the set of discrete transportable units requiring monitoring of analogous set of condition parameters are identified. Further, a cluster recommendation signal is generated to trigger rendering of a recommendation to cluster the one or more transportable units. A resource commissioning signal is also generated to trigger rendering of a recommendation to commission at least one monitoring resource for the one or more transportable units.
