  • Patent number: 12293370
Abstract: A computer system includes a processor programmed to process a first web page to identify a hyperlink contained thereon. The hyperlink includes a link to a second web page. The processor performs natural language processing on the first web page to determine one or more context word tokens and on the second web page to determine a context of the second web page. The processor also applies a context relevant tag to the hyperlink to generate a tagged hyperlink. The processor maps at least one of the context word tokens to the context relevant tag applied to the hyperlink and generates a transaction score for the tagged hyperlink.

  • Publication number: 20250131423
Abstract: A system and method for enabling dynamic expiration dates in a payment card. An algorithm executes on a computing device to create a private blockchain that is controlled by an inquiry block exchange. A payment card holder (PCH) metablock is generated when a first payment card issuer creates a PCH profile. This PCH profile is maintained within a security zone on the network. The security zone comprises multiple modules. These modules include a dynamic smart contract (DSC) execution engine module for generating a DSC hash value that identifies the DSC for the PCH profile metablock. A hyper-ledger fabric module enables dynamic parameters to be stored as an asset in the DSCs. A metablock generator module creates a PCH profile metablock and hashes the data in a subscribed hashing algorithm. The hashed data includes private keys and cryptographic keys in a secured element section of the PCH profile metablock.

  • Patent number: 12236422
Abstract: A system for identifying genuine user-merchant association. The system includes one or more processors and/or transceivers individually or collectively programmed to check the validity or expiration of a certificate from a device from which a request originates to create a certificate score, analyze previous communication from the device from which the request originates across a plurality of entities and regions to create a previous communication score, and conduct a messaging protocol check to create a protocol score. The one or more processors and/or transceivers are also programmed to output a weighted final score comprising a determination of whether to accept or deny the request based at least in part on one or more of the certificate scores, the previous communication score, or the protocol score. The one or more processors and/or transceivers are also programmed to save the weighted final score.

  • Publication number: 20250053971
Abstract: Embodiments provide methods and systems for assigning privacy labels to payment transactions. The method performed by a system includes receiving user input for masking a subset of data fields of a plurality of data fields in transaction data of the payment transaction performed within a pre-defined time period of occurrence of the payment transaction. The method includes assigning a mask label to the subset of data fields in the transaction data. Upon receiving a transaction insight request for the payment transaction from a third party server, the method includes determining whether the mask label is assigned to the subset of data fields. The method includes generating masked transaction data for the payment transaction based, at least in part, on masking the subset of data fields associated with the payment transaction in the transaction data. The method includes facilitating the transfer of the masked transaction data to the third party server.

The method includes receiving, by a server system, a request in association with a payment transaction between a cardholder and a merchant. The request includes a cardholder identifier and information of a successful verification of a user input entered by the cardholder to perform MFA of the payment transaction. The method includes identifying user profile data stored in a database based on the cardholder identifier. The user profile data includes information of a plurality of registered user devices associated with the cardholder. The method includes performing device behavioral analysis of one or more user devices. The method includes generating an MFA token associated with the payment transaction based on the device behavioral analysis. • Publication number: 20250045760
Abstract: A system and method for reducing financial fraud by suspending access to financial accounts due to a user's incapacitation. A fall detection alert is received from a device worn or carried by the user, and first status values are recorded. After a pre-established period of time, second status values are recorded, and the first and second status values are compared. An incapacitation of the user is inferred if the second status values are within a pre-established range of the first status values, and access to the accounts is suspended for at least some purchases based on this inferred incapacitation. Prior to suspending access, a notification may be sent to the user to allow the user to act to avoid the suspension. Access to the accounts may not be suspended for medical or other relevant purchases. Subsequent to suspending access, the user may request and access may be reinstated.

  • Publication number: 20250045750
Abstract: A system and method for verifying a signature in real-time when authenticating a card-based transaction. Initially, a digital reference signature is captured on a mobile device, sent in hashed form to a rules engine, and evaluated for features such as length, time, orientation, area, and pressure changes. Subsequently, a digital transaction signature is captured on a POS terminal, sent in hashed form to the rules engine via an acquirer, and evaluated for the same features. The rules engine compares the features of the signatures. If the transaction signature is verified, the rules engine sends an authentication token to the acquirer, and the acquirer sends the token and an authorization request to an issuer. If not, the acquirer sends a denial message to the merchant. If the power level of the POS terminal is insufficient to properly capture the transaction signature for effective evaluation, then an alternative authentication method is used.

  • Patent number: 12217239
Abstract: A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving, by a server, a flash code request indicative of a transaction amount. A flash code associated with the transaction amount is communicated by the server to the payer device. The flash code is encoded into a flash pattern at the payer device and communicated to a payee device of a payee for executing a payment transaction between the payer and the payee. A first request for the payment transaction is received by the server from the payee device. The first request includes the flash code obtained by decoding the flash pattern at the payee device. The flash code included in the first request is validated by the server. Based on successful validation of the flash code, the transaction amount is deducted from a payer account of the payer and credited to a payee account of the payee.

  • Patent number: 12190642
Abstract: Registering a biometric template with a computing device includes receiving a first scan of a biometric feature from a biometric sensor. The first scan includes first biometric data. The computing device extracts two or more distinct elements of the biometric feature and writes a biometric template to a memory. The first characterization data for each of the two or more distinct elements is recorded in the biometric template. After recording the first characterization data in the biometric template, the computing device receives an additional scan of the biometric feature from the biometric sensor. The additional scan includes second biometric data. The computing device validates the biometric template against the second biometric data. After validating the biometric template, the biometric template is updated with second characterization data. The second characterization data is associated with two or more additional distinct elements of the biometric feature contained in the second biometric data.

  • Patent number: 12045820
Abstract: The disclosure describes techniques for authenticating a voice command transaction initiated by a consumer at a voice-activated digital assistant. The system determine a proximity score for a consumer device. The proximity score is based on a distance between the consumer device and the digital assistant. The system detects motion indicating presence of a person proximate the digital assistant (based on wireless signal data) and determines a motion score. The system receives voice data from the digital assistant and determines a voice differentiation score. The system determines a rank score for the consumer device based on historical transaction data associated with the device. The system analyzes the proximity score, motion score, voice differentiation score, and rank score using a voice command authentication model. Based on the analysis, the system determines an authentication score for the voice command transaction request.

  • Publication number: 20240029052
Abstract: A device and method of authentication includes pairing a card to a mobile electronic device and a wearable device. A machine learning model is trained by obtaining first received signal strength indicator (RSSI) data from the card, the mobile electronic device, and the wearable device at calibrated distances. A first estimated proximity radius encompassing the card, the mobile electronic device, and the wearable device is calculated. The first estimated proximity radius is classified to be within a threshold. Upon receipt of a request to authorize a request, second RSSI data from the card, the mobile electronic device, and the wearable device is obtained. A second estimated proximity radius encompassing the card, the mobile electronic device, and the wearable device is calculated. Using the trained machine learning model, the second estimated proximity radius is determined to be within the threshold. Authentication is then complete.
