Abstract: A booster unit for moving a vehicle on a slope and having a booster and a master cylinder coupled to the booster, comprising a brake fluid pressure holding valve having an actuator and provided at a brake fluid pressure piping system for either maintaining or releasing the brake fluid pressure in accordance with the conditions of the vehicle on a slope, a plurality of sensors for detecting the vehicle conditions and a control unit including a microprocessor having a CPU, a RAM, and a ROM so as to receive detected signals from the sensors and to calculate and produce control signals to the actuator of the brake fluid pressure holding valve in accordance with the conditions of the vehicle on a slope, and a method of controlling the booster unit. With this construction, a smooth moving of the vehicle can be realized on a slope.

Abstract: Novel ergoline derivatives and acid addition salts thereof are disclosed. These ergoline derivatives possess excellent anti-hypertensive activity, vasodilating activity, anti-ulcer activity, gastric secretion inhibitory activity, brain metabolism improving activity, anti-depressive activity and dopamine-like activity, and, therefore, are useful for prevention and treatment of various diseases such as hypertension, a wide variety of vein disorders, peptic ulcer, brain absormality, depression, Parkinson's disease, high prolactin blood disease, etc.

Abstract: A reservoir tank includes a cap, a strainer, and a cap seal which is attached to the cap so as to prevent hydraulic fluid in the reservoir tank from leaking out. The cap seal is integrally formed with a cylindrical projection which is adapted to be pressed in resilient engagement with the outer periphery of the strainer, so that an inner space within the strainer defined by the inner side of the cap, the cap seal, the wall of the strainer, and the surface of the hydraulic fluid is separated by the projection from an outer space defined by the wall of the reservoir tank, the wall of the strainer and the surface of the hydraulic fluid. A tip of the projection of the cap seal is lower than the lower end of a thread portion of the cap when the cap engages with the reservoir tank. Therefore, hydraulic fluid adhering to an inner part of the cap and the cap seal does not drip and adhere to the thread portion of the cap.

Abstract: Novel pyridine compounds and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof having a specific inhibitory activity on thromboxane A.sub.2 biosynthesis in mammals useful for prevention and treatment of various disorders caused by thromboxane A.sub.2, for example, thrombosis, cardiac infarction, diabetic vascular complications, asthma, etc. are disclosed.

Abstract: 1,4-Dihydropyridine compounds having excellent coronary and vertebral vasodilation, blood pressure depression and anti-hypertensive activities are disclosed. These compounds are low toxic and stable to light, and are very useful for pharmaceutical agents.

Abstract: Novel thiopyranopyrimidine compounds and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof having excellent hypoglycemic activity, platelet aggregation inhibitory activity, antihistamine activity and anti-allergy activity useful for prevention and treatment of various disorders caused by diabetes, allergy and the like are disclosed.

Abstract: A flavan compound represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined above, and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, which are useful as pharmaceutical agent having anti-convulsive, anti-ulcer, anti-arrythmic and diuretic activities.

Abstract: Cis or trans-1,5-benzothiazepine compounds represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a hydroxyalkyl group and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts and quaternary ammonium salts thereof which exhibit anticholinergic activity and are useful as anti-ulcer, gastric secretion inhibiting and antispasmodic agents in mammals, and a process for preparing the same.

Abstract: Pyrazole derivatives represented by the formula ##SPC1##Wherein R, X, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hereinafter defined, which are useful as analgesics and anti-inflammatory agents and a process for preparing the pyrazole derivatives are disclosed.
