  • Publication number: 20240097441
Abstract: A management system includes a plurality of resources configured to be electrically connected to an external power supply, and a management device configured to manage the resources. The management device includes a planning unit and a management unit. The planning unit is configured to determine a power balancing plan of each of the resources by using first information on a use schedule of each of the resources and second information indicating a magnitude of an environmental load in a process of generating electric power to be supplied by the external power supply. The management unit is configured to manage the resources to cause each of the resources to operate according to the power balancing plan or a modified power balancing plan in power balancing of the external power supply.

  • Patent number: 8104557
Abstract: To enable control the number of revolutions of a wheel with a new structure different from an induction motor and adjust the maximum torque rapidly and accurately. A linear drive travel system includes a metal wheel 20 having a drum rotor and a stator 30 arranged inside the metal wheel 20. The stator 30 includes a plurality of rows of electromagnets 32 arranged in the direction of rotation axis, each row being formed of a plurality of electromagnets 32 arranged along the circumference around a rotary shaft 40. A drum rotor includes a plurality of arc-shaped rotor cores 23 arranged along the circumference around the rotary shaft 40. Control means (control system 80) performs control by allowing electromagnets 32 in some rows to be a magnetization coil of the rotor core and by allowing the electromagnets 32 in other rows to be a rotation coil of the drum motor.

  • Publication number: 20110321106
Abstract: To reduce the time required for communication of a video image data, as well as to prevent deterioration of image quality caused by compression and decompression. A clock control means 20 which outputs a plurality of clocks which have different frequencies; a division means 510 which divides analogue data into a prescribed number; a clock attachment means (transmission block processing part 520) which attaches a clock of a different frequency to each of the divided analogue data; a digital converting means (A/D conversion part 530) which converts the analogue data to digital data, thereby to generate a plurality of digital signals; and a transmission means (transmission part 710) which transmits to the outside the plurality of digital signals as transmission signals are provided.

  • Publication number: 20060079212
Abstract: A radio communication device includes: clock generation means (31A to 31D, 30) for generating a plurality of clocks; data signal generation means (204, 203) for inputting transmission signals of a plurality of types to be transmitted and generating a plurality of data signals including the plurality of types of transmission signals correlated to the transmission channel for use among transmission channels defined based on the plurality of clocks; multiplexing means (201) for multiplexing the plurality of data signals to generate a transmission signal; and signal transmission means (11) for radio-transmitting the transmission signal. In consequence, it is possible to provide a radio communication device and method capable of further improving the transmission efficiency of information with a simple structure.

  • Patent number: 4687996
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring the remaining charge of a galvanic cell effects the measurement of the remaining charge by superimposing an AC voltage or current on DC voltage or current issuing from the cell to produce a higher harmonic current or voltage, determining the value corresponding to a higher harmonic component of n'th order from the higher harmonic current or voltage, and comparing the value thus measured of the cell under test with that measured previously in the same manner of a reference galvanic cell. Since the corresponding value of the higher harmonic current or voltage of n'th order varies notably with the decrease in the remaining charge of the galvanic cell, the comparison of the found corresponding value with the reference characteristic is effected with ease and the measurement can be carried out accurately and simply.

  • Patent number: 4391802
Abstract: A method of leukemia or leukemoid disease treatment by administration of a vitamin D derivative with a hydroxyl group at 1.alpha.-position is disclosed. It is believed that the vitamin D derivative with a hydroxyl group at 1.alpha.-position is capable of treating cancer through redifferentiation of cancer cells and that this capability is inherent in vitamin D derivatives with a hydroxyl group at 1.alpha.-position.
