    Abstract: The invention provides a multi-channel audio system which creates a multi-channel surround environment by outputting a front signal, a surround signal and a surround back signal. The system has surround speakers each including a surround speaker unit for outputting sound corresponding to the surround signal and a surround back speaker unit for outputting sound corresponding to the surround back signal in a direction different from the sound outputting direction of the surround speaker.
