  • Patent number: 6744837
Abstract: In a clock switching circuit, a write address is generated based on a pre-switched clock, and the write address is employed to store input data in memory. Then, a read address is generated based on a post-switched clock, and the read address is employed to read data from memory, so that a clock synchronized with the data is changed. There are multiple pre-switched frequencies, and the frequency of a post-switched clock is higher than the frequency of a pre-switched clock. When the pre-switched clock frequency is lower than the post-switched clock frequency, the read address is updated in accordance with a ratio of the frequency of the pre-switched clock to the frequency of the post-switched clock.

  • Patent number: 5274931
Abstract: An on-line moisture control method for powdered or granular materials and a related system to practice the method. A fixed amount of materials are sampled by a material sampling means, transported into a heat treatment chamber having an airtight heating part, heated in the heat treatment chamber while an inert gas is supplied therein, and the weight measured by a weight measuring unit. The moisture generated by heating the materials is sent to a moisture measuring unit together with the inert gas. An operation unit receives the weight value measured by the weight measuring unit and the titrated value measured by the moisture measuring unit, and calculates the moisture content of the materials and displays the value.

  • Patent number: 5214511
Abstract: An image transforming apparatus forms an output image by mapping input image onto a three-dimensional curved surface, and obtains a position of a region on an input image corresponding to a position on the output image where image information becomes discontinuous. After a blanking signal is inserted into this region of the input image, an output image signal is formed by interpolating process on the basis of an input image signal with the blanking signal inserted.

  • Patent number: 5165180
Abstract: An on-line drying control method for powdered or granular materials and a related system to execute the method. A fixed amount of materials stored and dried in a drying means such as a hopper dryer is sampled, transported into a moisture measuring/operating station wherein the sampled materials are heated in a heat treatment chamber and the moisture content is calculated by an operation unit. The moisture content is sent to a temperature controller to control the temperature of the drying means so that the obtained moisture content corresponds to a predetermined moisture content while comparing both moisture contents.

  • Patent number: 4638363
Abstract: In an image pickup apparatus or television camera tube in which a signal corresponding to a target current of the television camera tube is supplied to its beam current control electrode to thereby control the beam quantity to become corresponding to the variation of the incident light amount thereon, the present invention is to provide an automatic beam current control system for a television camera in which the signal corresponding to the target current is supplied through a line adder circuit to the beam current control electrode. The line adder circuit may use, for example, a one horizontal period delay line. Since the control signal supplied to the beam current control electrode is an added value or an average value of the target currents obtained over two scanning periods, the stable control signal is always supplied to the beam current control electrode of the television camera tube so that the image picked up signal of high definition without a line crawl component can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4558354
Abstract: A delay circuit, which comprises modulators for effecting contour modulation of an input video signal using a signal from a carrier oscillator as a carrier, delay circuit for delaying the modulation output of the modulators, variable phase shifter for phase shifting the carrier oscillator output signal, demodulators for effecting demodulation by synchronous detection using the output of the variable phase shifter as a synchronizing signal, adder for superimposing a reference signal on a first demodulation of signal from the demodulator corresponding to a first input signal to the modulator and supplying the resultant signal as a second input signal to the modulator, controller for controlling the amount of phase shift by the variable phase shifter according to the reference signal demodulated by the second demodulator, wherein demodulators produce a first demodulated signal delayed behind the first input signal supplied to the modulators by an amount provided by the delay circuit and a second demodulated sign

  • Patent number: 4481537
Abstract: A delay circuit comprising a pair of modulators for executing biaxial quadrature modulation with carriers that have a 90.degree. phase difference therebetween, a mixer which mixes the modulated output signals of the modulators together to produce a composite output signal, delay circuitry for delaying the composite output signal of the signal mixer, and a pair of demodulators which are respectively associated with the pair of modulators and serve to demodulate the delayed output signal supplied by the delay circuitry. The first of the two demodulators associated with the first of the two modulators, produces a first demodulated output signal, a portion of which is supplied to the second of the two modulators as a modulating signal. Additionally, the first demodulated output signal is delayed by the delay circuitry for a predetermined duration with respect to an input signal fed to the first modulator.

  • Patent number: 4336552
Abstract: A video signal, such as may be generated by a television camera, is subjected to a delay, and then combined with a relatively undelayed version thereof, the combined signal being supplied to a clipping circuit, which passes at least that portion thereof that exceeds a predetermined clipping level, and also to a slicing circuit, which passes at least that portion thereof that is less than the predetermined clipping level. A mixing circuit mixes the video signal with the outputs of the clipping and slicing circuits, thereby to provide a vertical aperture-corrected output video signal which is substantially free of periodic fluctuations that might be present in the amplitude of the original video signal. A preferred use of this vertical aperture correction circuit is with a color image pickup device of the type which generates a video signal having a superimposed periodic, fluctuating index signal thereon that produces a line-crawling effect in the ultimately produced video picture.

  • Patent number: 4160265
Abstract: A video signal processing circuit, particularly for use in conjunction with a single-tube indexing color television camera, provides an output video signal to which a vertical aperture correction has been added, and which cancels undesired line-to-line amplitude changes, thereby preventing line-crawling distortion. The video signal processing circuit includes an input circuit to which an input video signal is supplied, a delay circuit for delaying the input video signal from the input circuit by one horizontal scanning interval, a signal squaring circuit for squaring the difference in level between the input video signal and the delayed input video signal, and a mixing circuit for combining the input video signal with the squared signal output from the squaring circuit. The squaring circuit can include a multiplier circuit, or a square-law characteristic FET, to which the difference in level between the delayed and undelayed input video signals is applied.
