Abstract: A one-shot color scheme for forming a color image by one exposure cycle is characterized in that color toners consist of three kinds of color toners for transmitting cyan, magenta, and yellow color components and emitting the same colors as the transmitted color components, red, green, and blue light components whose exposure energy amounts are variable are caused to be incident on the color toners on the photoconductive layer, and the color toners are selectively separated from the photoconductive layer by changing a combination of the color light components and the exposure energy amounts.

Abstract: A method of driving a diode type display unit in which a charge regulating period is added to driving signal waveform in order to regulate amount of charge in a display picture element capacitor in the display unit wherein a two-terminal element having nonlinear current-voltage characteristics is provided two-dimensionally on a substrate, an electrooptical element capable of controlling the optical quality by means of applied voltage is disposed in response to the two-terminal element, charge is injected into the electrooptical element by utilizing the current-voltage nonlinearity in the two-terminal element for writing period, and the charge injected is held by utilizing the current-voltage nonlinearity in the two-terminalelement for holding period thereby effectig display.

The scanning electrodes and data electrodes are driven only during an expansion period in a field, and voltage between the scanning electrode and the data electrode is zero during a non-expansion period in the field.

Abstract: A system of signal application to color picture elements of a color display apparatus of the matrix-drive type in which a unit displaying picture element is formed of one red, one blue and two green picture elements and drive signals are applied to unit driving picture elements which is formed by dividing each unit displaying picture element into at least two groups of picture elements whereby a color picture display of high resolution and high picture quality is accomplished.

Abstract: A column electrode driver circuit for a matrix type color television panel in which a color television picture is displayed by a time sharing drive comprises analog line memories, analog latch circuits and analog pulse width modulating circuits. The use of these analog circuits reduces the number of elements of a matrix type color television driver circuit.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device to display information in color, utilizing dichroic and diffusion reflectors. Application of an electric field causes a change from a Grandjean texture of the liquid crystal to a static scattering mode, to effect scattering of light in desired display areas so that these areas are viewed in the reflection color of the dichroic reflector and other areas in the transmission color.
