    Abstract: An automatic program generating device and method which involves the dividing of a whole work to be processed into a plurality of tasks and providing a plurality of free-setting task elements. The free-setting task elements each include an incomplete program. The tasks and free-setting task elements are arranged about an inner matrix configuration provided on a frame body such that a respective one of the tasks represents each row (or column) of the matrix and a respective one of the free-setting task elements represents each column (or row) of the matrix. The intersections of the columns and rows of the matrix define cross-points upon which are positioned a plurality of different types of fixed task element marks. The fixed task elements represent various operation program parts stored in a memory device.
