  • Patent number: 11558235
Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a generation unit that generates the first I signal and the first Q signal as signals that allow a carrier wave to undergo frequency shift keying with predetermined modulated data and inputs the first I signal and the first Q signal to a quadrature modulation unit. A first demodulation unit and the first decoding unit demodulate and decode first data that undergoes amplitude shift keying and is transmitted from the wireless tag. A second demodulation unit and the second decoding unit demodulate and decode second data that undergoes frequency shift keying from a wireless signal output from the wireless tag. A comparison unit compares the second data and the modulated data to each other. The processor executes, when matching between the second data and the modulated data is confirmed by the comparison unit, data processing on the first data.

  • Publication number: 20220239545
Abstract: A quadrature modulator and the transmission unit output a modulated wave obtained by performing quadrature modulation on a carrier wave using a first I signal and a first Q signal and wirelessly transmit the modulated wave. A reception unit and the quadrature detector detect a received signal corresponding to a wireless signal transmitted from the wireless tag using the carrier wave and to output a second I signal and a second Q signal. A filter and the amplification unit amplify a frequency component higher than a cutoff frequency in the second I signal and the second Q signal. A detector and the decoding unit decode data based on a detection signal obtained by detecting the amplified second I signal and the amplified second Q signal.

  • Patent number: 11392785
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a control device for an image forming apparatus includes a controller that acquires reference information corresponding to expected signal strength values from a wireless tag on a sheet moving along a conveyance path and also acquires measured signal strength values for a first wireless tag on a sheet from a wireless tag communication device. The controller calculates a similarity value from the measured signal strength values and the expected signal strength values to determine whether the first wireless tag is on a sheet moving along the conveyance path. The controller controls the wireless tag communication device to write information to the first wireless tag when the calculated similarity value is above a threshold similarity value.

  • Patent number: 11393012
Abstract: An article input device includes a processor. The processor acquires identification information read from a wireless tag by a reading unit installed in a first carrier carrying an article. The processor registers the acquired identification information in a first list when the acquired identification information is not registered in a second list in which identification information read from a wireless tag by a second reading unit installed in a second carrier carrying an article is registered. The processor causes a display on the first carrier to output a notification when the acquired identification information is registered in the second list.

  • Publication number: 20220166263
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a cart gate for storage of carts that have a power reception device includes a pair of guides spaced from each other in a cart-width direction. The guides extend along a forward cart direction. A power transmission device is mounted on a portion of one of the guides. The power transmission device is configured to provide power, in a non-contact manner, to a power reception device on a cart that is between the pair of guides and at a predetermined cart storage position along the forward cart direction. The minimum distance between the guides in the cart-width direction is greater than a width of the cart, but the difference between the minimum distance and the width of the cart is less than or equal to a power transmitting range of the power transmission device.
