    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an antenna for a wearable electronic device includes a first dielectric substrate with a first surface and a second surface located on opposite sides, a ground plate on the first surface, and a second dielectric substrate with a third surface and a fourth surface located on opposite sides. The third surface is bonded to the second surface and at least partially within an outer perimeter of the second surface. A radiating element is disposed on the fourth surface.
