Abstract: The present invention relates to an exercise device for a person, comprising a shoulder harness adapted to fit around the shoulders of the person, a rigid, elongated member having a first end and a second opposing end, and at least one spring mechanism having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the spring mechanism is configured for attaching with the rigid, elongated member or the shoulder harness. At least one foot rest having two opposing ends is connected with the distal end of at least one of the spring mechanisms. The person can press against the at least one foot rest with his feet to perform exercises while the shoulder harness is fitted around the shoulders of the person.
