  • Patent number: 11971197
Abstract: There is disclosed a receiver panel. In an embodiment, the panel is configured to receive a curtain of particles in a solar central receiver system. A porous structure of the panel has a top end and a bottom end. The porous structure is disposed between the top end and the bottom end. The porous structure has a size to impede movement of the particles during downward travel from the top end to the bottom end. There is disclosed a solar central receiver system. In an embodiment, the receiver system includes a plurality of receiver panels, a tower supporting the plurality of receiver panels in a configuration to receive solar irradiation, and a hopper forming a slot configured to dispose the particles at a given location on to the porous structure. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220227959
Abstract: The present invention relates to a material composition comprising: (i) a polyester selected from polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, or mixtures thereof; and (ii) ?1.0 and ?30.0 vol % of aluminium particles and to a shaped object comprising a material composition comprising such material composition. Such shaped object does demonstrate the desirable mechanical impact properties, and also demonstrates the desirable electromagnetic shielding, electrical conductivity, and thermal conductivity, given its high loading of aluminium.

  • Patent number: 10919135
Abstract: Systems and methods for removing a bearing assembly from a shaft include a steam ring, the steam ring being a ring shaped member. The steam ring has an inner bore sized to circumscribe the shaft. A lip ring extends from a first end face of the steam ring and has an inner diameter length that is greater than an outer diameter length. A steam inlet port extends through a sidewall of the steam ring. A steam outlet port extends through the sidewall of the steam ring at a location spaced apart from the steam inlet port.
