  • Publication number: 20260052366
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining information related to broadcast alerts and transmitting that information to a backend server. A user device may include broadcast event collecting software that obtains information related to broadcast alerts received at the user device. The information related to broadcast alerts may then be transmitted to the backend server. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11874387
Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain a location of a mobile device and a barometric pressure reading of the mobile device, identify a weather reference area and a ground reference area containing the location, and calculate an elevation of the mobile device from the barometric pressure reading of the mobile device and a barometric pressure metric of a weather reference point of the weather reference area, where the weather reference point has a predetermined elevation. The processing system may then determine a height of the mobile device over a ground level of the location based upon the elevation of the mobile device that is calculated and based upon an elevation of a ground reference area containing the location and provide a report of the location of mobile device including the height of the mobile device over the ground level that is determined.

  • Publication number: 20220295326
Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain a request that identifies a region associated with a wireless communication network, identify sub-areas within the region, obtain performance indicator data for the sub-areas for a plurality of time periods from mobile devices within each sub-area, and apply an adaptive thresholding to the performance indicator data for each sub-area to determine one or more thresholds associated with the performance indicator data. The processing system may further identify a risk level, from among a plurality of risk levels, for each sub-area for at least one time periods based upon the one or more thresholds and the performance indicator data for each sub-area, where the one or more thresholds define one or more risk levels of the plurality of risk levels, and provide reporting data indicating the risk level for each sub-area for the at least one time period.
