Abstract: Computer systems may be instrumented using a minimally invasive API that allows the execution time of every task in an application to be measured and transactional information to be tagged to the measurement or timing data. Preferably, the measurement data is also associated with related measurement data from other components or systems of the same business entity in order to give precise latency data and statistics for transactions that involve more then one segment of a business' operations.

Abstract: The present invention provides systems and apparatus for use in asset management. The invention displays an image of a floor plan to a user. Further, the invention allows the user to select from a plurality of indicators, where each indicator represents a respective asset. Following selection, the invention allows the user to position the indicators on the image of the floor plan in respective positions reflecting the physical location of the respective assets. The invention allows the user to group assets, create group layers, store information about each, as well as other asset management features.
