    Abstract: A thrust washer is provided. The thrust washer includes an annular base including a radially extending thrust surface, a further radially extending surface on an opposite side of the annular base from the radially extending thrust surface, an outer circumferential surface extending axially from the radially extending thrust surface to the further radially extending surface and an inner circumferential surface extending axially from the radially extending thrust surface to the further radially extending surface. The thrust washer also includes radially extending connectors extending radially outward from the annular base.     Abstract: A method of forming a damper assembly is provided. The method includes providing springs into an interior space of a spring retainer such that the springs circumferentially contact carrier pins; compressing the springs via the carrier pins into a preloaded orientation; providing tabs in the interior space of the spring retainer such that each of the tabs is between two of the carrier pins; and removing the carrier pins such that the tabs hold the springs in the preloaded orientation. A damper assembly and a torque converter are also provided.

The torque converter further includes a reaction plate positioned axially between the front cover and the turbine. A second pressure chamber is defined axially between the reaction plate and the turbine and a third pressure chamber is defined axially between the reaction plate and the front cover. A method of forming a torque converter is also provided.
