  • Patent number: 11961071
Abstract: Methods and systems for authenticating communications sessions, such as voice and video calls, are described herein. A communications session, such as a video or voice call, may be detected. The communications session may relate to a transaction, such as a financial transaction. An authorization request may be received during the communications session. The authorization request may be received by a secure transaction application and via a first communications channel that is different from a second communications channel used for the communications session. A request to approve one or more goods or services to be purchased via the transaction may be displayed. In response to user input responding to the request, an authorization of the transaction may be transmitted to a server. The authorization may be configured to cause the server to initiate payment for the transaction using payment information associated with a user.

  • Patent number: 11862179
Abstract: A system may receive a communication from a user, which may include a vocal sample. The system may transform the vocal sample from a wavelength domain into a frequency domain. The system may determine a divergence of one or more amplitude values of the transformed frequency domain from a predetermined frequency distribution. According to some embodiments, the predetermined frequency distribution may be a Benford's distribution. When the divergence exceeds a predetermined threshold, the system may execute one or more security measures. The one or more security measures may include (i) transferring the user from an automated operator to a human operator, (ii) requiring second factor authentication from the user, and/or (iii) denying a user-initiated request.

  • Publication number: 20230359849
Abstract: Aspects described herein may allow for a payment card having enhanced edge patterns. The payment card may include a complex edge morphology on the physical card that may make the payment card more likely to be used by consumers and makes the payment card stand out due to the enhanced edge design. The edge of the payment card may be reeded, crenelated, or may include various shapes of various sizes on one or more of the edge walls extending around the payment card. The edge of the payment card may also include dimples, chips, and/or other complex design patterns cut into the face of the payment card close to the edge. The payment card may also include inclusions of other materials, such as metals, ceramic, and/or polymer to be added which fill or partially fill any voids produced by the edge patterns.
