    Abstract: A system and method for facilitating extracting processing data, in a networked computing environment. An example method includes receiving a signal from a user input device specifying a regular expression. The regular expression includes criteria for extracting data from a database or file, e.g., a text, XML, JSON, or other type of file. A selected function is applied to data that is extracted in accordance with the regular expression via a MapReduce framework. In a more specific embodiment, the method further includes delivering reduced or processed data to a DataBase Management System (DBMS) of a networked enterprise computing environment. The database includes a file with data obtained from one or more databases distributed among one or more servers of the enterprise computing environment.

    Abstract: A FinFET having fin back biasing and methods of forming the same are disclosed. The FinFET includes a substrate and a fin over the substrate. The fin includes a source region, a drain region, a channel region, and a biasing region. The source and drain regions sandwich the channel region. The channel region and the biasing region sandwich one of the source and drain regions. The FinFET further includes a gate over the substrate. The gate engages the fin adjacent to the channel region, thereby forming a field effect transistor (FET). The biasing region is configured to bias the FET body effect when a voltage is applied to the biasing region. From a cross sectional view, the source region and the biasing region each have a substantially rectangular profile, wherein the source region is taller and wider than the biasing region.

    Abstract: A vehicle includes a tone wheel having a plurality of encoding members spaced substantially evenly about a periphery thereof. Each tone wheel is rotates with an associated wheel. A fixed speed sensor is mounted adjacent to each tone wheel. The vehicle includes a brake system. A method determines a travel distance between adjacent encoding members. A required rolling distance of a vehicle from standstill is established. Maximum allowed interrupts per wheel is established, with an interrupt defined as each instance an encoding member passes an associated speed sensor. It is determined whether the vehicle is actually rolling from standstill. Once the vehicle is actually rolling, a number of interrupts is counted at each wheel. When the maximum allowed interrupts is counted at each wheel, the brake system is supplied with pressure increase to return the vehicle to, and hold the vehicle at, standstill prior to reaching the required rolling distance.

The first set of counters divides the address space into address ranges of a first size, whereas the second set of counters divides the address space into address ranges of a second size that is different from the first size. One of a storage device or a cache thereof is selected to service the data transaction based on the first set of counters, and data is preloaded into the cache based on the second set of counters.

The sensors are coupled with microcontroller that captures the sensed data and determines the posture based on analytic model. The microcontroller may be further coupled with PID controller and air pump which may inflate and deflate the air diaphragm placed within the fabric. The inflation and deflation of air diaphragm is dynamically controlled to provide comfort to the user of an adaptive wearable smart fabric.

At least one IP packet data stream representative of the original IP packet data stream traverses a communication link through a second communication device working in tandem with the communications server before arriving at the computer device. The computer device determines a highest quality packet for each corresponding packet in the multiple concurrent IP packet data streams. The computer device then creates a bonded IP packet data stream by selecting the highest quality packet for each time slot from among corresponding time slots of the multiple concurrent IP packet data streams.
