Abstract: A computerized method for implementing a ranked health-content article feed includes the step of obtaining a set of health-content articles. A health-content article includes a distributable computer file containing a media content comprising text, a digital image or a digital video. The method includes the step of identifying a sub-set of health content articles comprising a marketing content. The method includes the step of removing the sub-set of health content articles comprising the marketing content from the set of health-content articles. The method includes the step of providing an authority score for each health-content article of the set of health-content articles. The method includes the step of providing a social-popularity score for each health-content article of the set of health-content articles. The method includes the step of providing a content score for each health-content article of the set of health-content articles.

Abstract: A system, method and device for customizing online merchant payments for mobile devices without merchant integration are provided. In an embodiment, a mobile device monitors a state of a web-based session between the mobile device and an online merchant and detects and intercepts a payment form received from an online merchant for entering payment information to complete a purchase transaction with the online merchant. The mobile device displays a list of one or more payment types available for selection to complete the purchase transaction. The user selects and payment type and the mobile device retrieves associated payment information from a server based on the payment type selected by the user. The mobile device populates fields of the payment form with the retrieved payment information, displays the populated payment form to the user for confirmation to complete the purchase transaction, and submits the populated payment form to the online merchant.

The originating end sends the profile of codecs to the terminating end and receives in return an indication of which codec to use. The originating end and the terminating end create a reduced profile that includes the codec identified by the terminating side and its peers. The peers are codecs that use the same amount of resources as the selected codec or that use less resources than the selected codec. Even though the reduced profile includes more than one codec, packets are coded and decoded using only the codec identified by a bit map that is available to the DSP channel at both the originating end and the terminating end. At a later time a change can be made to a different codec in the reduced profile by changing the bitmap and without closing and re-opening the channel.

Abstract: A method and system of assigning DSP resources in a voice gateway which first seeks to assign the calls to DSPs on a best fit basis using information in a best fit (BF) pool. If a call can not be assigned on a BF basis, the call is assigned to a DSP based on information in a load balancing (LB) pool. The BF pool indicates which DSPs will be completely loaded by calls using various codecs and which DSPs have calls that have a first channel penalty (FCP). The LB pool indicates the number of calls each DSP is handling.
