    Abstract: The present invention relates to a filter circuit for eliminating capacitive inrush current occurring in electromagnetic coil control circuits controlling the actuator coil of electromagnetic contactors or relays. The filter circuit comprises input terminals to be connected with a direct current voltage, a first output terminal to be connected with a first terminal of the inductive load and a second output terminal to be connected to a second terminal of the inductive load, a first diode, wherein the cathode of the first diode is connected to said first output terminal and to said first input terminal, a second diode, wherein the anode of the second diode is connected to said second output terminal, and a filter capacitor which is connected between said second input terminal and to a node which interconnects the anode of said first diode and the cathode of said second diode.
