Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for fuzzy planning for management of activities. The system first receives activities to include in a schedule associated with a user. The system also receives preferences for scheduling the activities, wherein the preferences define time slots in the schedule for the activities, the time slots having varying degrees of preference. Next, the system analyzes the activities and the preferences to match the activities with respective, available time slots selected from the time slots according to the preferences, wherein at least one of the respective, available time slots includes a range of time slots. The system then schedules the activities for the respective, available time slots in the schedule.
