Abstract: A hand-held video game controller for interaction with a computer gaming unit. The video game controller comprises a hollow casing defining a central control section, and left and right hand grip sections extending from the control section. The control section includes a plurality of switches which a user will utilize to enter data and control signals. Those switches are intended to be individually operated by one or both thumbs of the user. The video game controller further includes at least one trackball input device integrally mounted to the control section of the casing for manipulation by the user for producing a game input signal indicative to the amount and direction of rotational movement of a trackball relative to the casing in each of orthogonal directions. The game controller also includes at least one joystick integrally mounted to the control section of the casing for manipulation by the user.

Abstract: A portable power inverter having a pass through device to facilitate connection and operation of both A.C. and D.C. power consuming devices to a single outlet of a single D.C. power source. Inverter circuitry is electrically coupled to the external D.C. power source for inverting D.C. voltage to an A.C. voltage source. A.C. electrical outlets are provided to facilitate a connection to an external A.C. power-consuming device. The pass through device provides an independent and simultaneous connection to an additional D.C. outlet to allow connection an external D.C. power-consuming device. The pass through device allows connection of D.C. consuming devices that would otherwise be connected directly to the external D.C. power source while the inverter is so connected thus allowing connection and operation of both A.C. and D.C power consuming devices through a single external D.C. power outlet of a single D.C. power source.

Abstract: A detachable video display system that is designed to be used with various electronic devices. The system has an upper video display housing that is pivotally connected to a lower connecting member. The connecting member includes connection brackets and clips for detachably attaching the video display device to a video game console, or similar electronic device. The video display housing may be pivoted relative to the connecting member so that the video screen has a viewing position and a stored position. In a preferred embodiment, the video display device is specifically designed to attach to a gaming device such as NINTENDO's GameCube®.

Abstract: An accessory lighting assembly for selectively illuminating user selected areas such as, for example, compact computer devices, books and other desired areas. The lighting assembly comprises a base portion for mounting to the user-selected area, a pivotable extension, and a pivotable light portion with a light source. The light source is selectively directed toward a user selected area for illumination and may be pivoted between a working position where light source is adapted to be directed toward the user selected area and a storage position where the light source is housed within a recess formed in the extension. A rechargeable battery pack provides electric power and the light source may be a fluorescent light bulb.

Abstract: A mounting kit comprises a player mounting system provided for carrying and removably attaching a video player device to a vehicle seat, and a display harness system for carrying and removably mounting a video display unit to the vehicle seat independent of the video player device. The display harness system includes a display case provided for housing the video display member within the display case and a mounting strap attached to the display case for removably attaching the display case to the vehicle seat. A bottom side of said display case defines an opening provided for receiving the video display member of the display unit within the display casing. The display case further has a retainer provided for releasably securing the video display member within the display case so that the base member of the video display unit extends from the display case.

Abstract: An audio/video (A/V) signal delivery system is provided for transmitting an A/V signal from an audio/video output game port of one of a plurality of different video game consoles. The A/V delivery system comprises a central module including a plurality of A/V connectors and a corresponding plurality of A/V output module ports each connected to one of the plurality of A/V connectors, wherein each of the plurality of the A/V connectors is provided to mate with an A/V output game port of a corresponding one of a plurality of different video game consoles to transmit an audio signal and a video signal from one of the plurality of different video game consoles to corresponding one of the plurality of A/V output module ports of the central module. The central multi-port module also comprises associated output ports/pinout arrangements mirroring each of the aforementioned gaming platforms A/V output ports.
