    Abstract: A driving control apparatus is configured to control a driving unit that moves relative to each other a vibrator that is excited to vibrate by applying a first driving signal and a second driving signal that have a phase difference with each other, and a contact member that contacts the vibrator. The driving control apparatus includes a first control unit configured to control the phase difference, and a second control unit configured to control a voltage amplitude of each of the first driving signal and the second driving signal. The second control unit controls the voltage amplitude so that a change rate of the voltage amplitude increases as an absolute value of the phase difference decreases.
