  • Patent number: 5895027
Abstract: A solenoid unit includes a plurality of solenoid valves having respective valve bodies for attachment with a main casing of an automatic transmission and a case equipped with the solenoid valves in a manner that the solenoid valves can be installed in the main casing collectively. In the unit, the wiring for the solenoid valves has been completed in the casing prior to assembling the unit to the automatic transmission unit. With the arrangement mentioned above, if only attaching the solenoid unit to the main casing, it is possible to assemble the valve bodies of the solenoid valves to the main casing with a predetermined arrangement. Further, since the wiring for the solenoid valves has been already completed in the case, it is possible to omit the post-operation, such as soldering.

  • Patent number: 5861120
Abstract: In a primary molding step, a connector housing having a hood portion is molded. In a secondary molding step, an elastic seal ring is molded on an inner side of the hood portion. Through holes are formed in the connector housing in the primary molding step which allow an elastic material to flow therethrough from a seal ring-forming portion on the inner side of the hood portion to an outer side of the hood portion, and which retain part of the seal ring formed at the seal ring-forming portion when the elastic material is cured. An air reservoir portion is formed in a secondary mold, which communicates with outer open ends of the through holes in the connector housing in the secondary molding step.

  • Patent number: 5839914
Abstract: A connector for detecting an incomplete insertion of a terminal is provided, wherein the connector causes a detecting accuracy of the incomplete insertion of the terminal to be improved when each of a detection of incomplete insertion and a detection of continuity of the terminal is performed. A guide groove is formed, into which an incomplete insertion detecting finger of an inspecting pin is inserted. The guide groove is formed at a space into which a resilient supporting piece is capable of bending when confronted by a terminal receiving chamber of a connector housing. A pick-up surface is provided for guiding at an opening of the guide groove. A straight portion is formed along the guide groove so as to protrude from the straight portion, which is lengthened at the tip of the resilient supporting piece. The straight portion is located a small distance apart from the guide groove in a direction toward the direction opposite of which the resilient supporting piece is capable of bending into.
