Abstract: A method for managing access to data stored on a terminal device, the method at the terminal device including: receiving, from a first application executing on the terminal device, a request for access to a first type of stored data; receiving, as a user input, a first indication of whether the first application is to be allowed: full access to the first type of stored data, partial access to the first type of stored data, or no access to the first type of stored data; and providing the first application full, partial or no access to the first type of stored data according to the first indication.

Abstract: A User configures the option in his/her UE to deliver the SMS via Operator's application client installed on UE. This configuration will be saved in the UDM as an option opted by UE. SMS-GMSC receives the “SMS delivery flag (indicating alternate delivery mechanism is enabled)” from UDM in response to the “Send Routing Infor for SM” message. If the traditional SMS delivery over mobile operator network fails (e.g. no connectivity), then SMS-GMSC will trigger NEF to re-attempt the SMS delivery to UE. (NEF can be an optional network function as Application function is trusted one and hosted in Operator's network). NEF sends the SMS to Application Function (Mobile Network Operator's Serer) which encrypts the SMS payload and delivers the SMS to operator's application client e.g. Mobile Network Operator App installed on UE over the alternative data connectivity (Ex. Wi-Fi Broadband).

The method further includes the first network node retrieving, from the database, at least one predefined rule associated with the media content. The method further includes the first network node determining an advice of charge using the database object and the at least one predefined rule, the advice of charge specifying a deduction from the non-monetary balance for downloading the media content. The method also includes the first network node transmitting the advice of charge to the second network node.
