Abstract: A liquid filtration apparatus includes a series of upright filter plates forming a filter plate pack. Filtering spaces are formed in the filter plate pack. The liquid filtration apparatus includes at least one filtering space and a filter chamber that is at least partly limited laterally by a filter media. The at least one filtering space has an elongated bottom discharge opening at a level below the filter chamber. The elongated bottom discharge opening is provided with a first openable and closable hatch arrangement and with a second openable and closable hatch arrangement extending across the elongated bottom discharge opening.
