    Abstract: A portable powered cutter comprises an operation tube (10), a transmission shaft (40) inserted through the operation tube (10), and a rotary blade (31) supported by a blade holder (30) connected to a forward end of the operation tube (10). The rotary blade (31) is rotated by rotational output of a power source transmitted by the transmission shaft (40). The blade holder (30) pivots, against a predetermined resistance, about a transverse axis (14) perpendicular to an axis of the operation tube (10) as viewed in plane. The transmission shaft (40) is flexible at least at a portion between the forward end of the operation tube (10) and the blade holder (30), and the flexible portion of the transmission shaft (40) is inserted through a bellows (100).
