  • Publication number: 20220148050
Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating the repair cost of one or more instances of vehicle damage pictured in a digital image are disclosed herein. These systems and methods may first use a damage detection neural network (NN) model to determine location(s), type(s), intensit(ies), and corresponding repair part(s) for pictured damage. Then, a repair cost estimation NN model may be given a damage type, a damage intensity, and the repair part(s) needed to determine a repair cost estimation. The training of each of the damage detection NN model and the repair cost estimation NN model is described. The manner of outputting results data corresponding to the systems and methods disclosed herein is also described.

  • Publication number: 20100125402
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for managing engines in response to a traffic signal. The method may comprise establishing communications with participating vehicles; responding to a stop status indicated by the traffic signal, further comprising: receiving a position data from each participating vehicles; determining a queue of participating vehicles stopped at the traffic signal; determining a remaining duration of the stop status; sending a stop-engine notification to the list of participating vehicles stopped at the traffic signal when the remaining duration is greater than a threshold of time; responding to a proceed status indicated by the traffic signal, further comprising: sending a start-engine notification to a first vehicle in the queue; calculating an optimal time for an engine of a second vehicle in the queue to start; and sending the start-engine notification to the second vehicle at the optimal time.

  • Publication number: 20050075290
Abstract: The present invention is directed to compositions useful in treating or preventing ileus in a patient. The compositions of the invention include a pituitary adenylate cyclase activating peptide (PACAP) receptor antagonist and/or a vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) receptor antagonist in an amount sufficient to treat or prevent ileus in a patient. In one embodiment both a PACAP and VIP receptor antagonists are present, preferably in a combination that blocks vasoactive pituitary cyclase 1 (VPAC1), VPAC2 and pituitary adenylate cyclase 1 (PAC1) receptors. Methods of using such composition to treat or prevent ileus in a patient are also encompassed by the invention.
