  • Publication number: 20240079059
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed, including transistors, semiconductor devices and systems. Example semiconductor devices and methods include isolation trenches between transistors that include a floating liner. Floating liner examples enable trench widths that scale smaller than trenches that do not include floating liners. This allows increases in device density without sacrificing electronic properties of devise shown.

  • Patent number: 11078535
Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for the early detection of neuroinflammation in a patient in a presymptomatic stage of a neurodegenerative disease. The method comprises identifying patients with elevated expression levels of a micro RNA selected from the group consisting of miR142-3p, miR142-5p, miR181a, miR181b, miR219-3p and miR219-5p. The identified patients can then be treated with a therapeutic pharmaceutical composition comprising antimiR oligonucleotides.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 7, 2018
Date of Patent: August 3, 2021
Assignee: The Trustees of Indiana University

  • Patent number: 10201557
Abstract: Compositions, kits, cells and methods for treating cardiovascular (e.g., myocardial ischemia and heart failure), immunological, and inflammatory diseases or disorders involve the use of the mature and precursor sequences of microRNAs 142-5p, 142-3p, 17-5p, 17-3p, 374, and 20a, and of antisense molecules complementary to these sequences, to manipulate processes relevant to, for example, the cardiac response to stress, including survival signaling, angiogenesis, stem cell differentiation along muscle or vascular lineages, and repression or promotion of cardiac myocyte growth. Also described are methods to treat cardiovascular, immunological and inflammatory diseases by engineering cells containing specific micro-RNAs or antagomirs against specific mRNAs. The engineered cells can then be used to treat patients with such diseases by autologous stem cell therapy.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 1, 2016
Date of Patent: February 12, 2019
