  • Publication number: 20200060940
Abstract: A breastfeeding device adapted to fit over a natural breast is provided. The device includes a reservoir that stores a received liquid and has an inner surface and an outer surface. Additionally, the device includes an access opening that is formed in the outer surface of the reservoir and is adapted to receive an attachment. The inner surface of the reservoir is attached onto a surface of the natural breast emulating a contour thereof.

  • Publication number: 20150286784
Abstract: A computer-based system and method improves the efficiency of healthcare services provided to a patient by modeling an epoch of care (EOC) of the patient and by using the EOC model to assist in the provision of healthcare services to the patient, such as by generating predictions of healthcare outcomes for the patient and by making recommendations for actions to be taken in connection with the provision of healthcare services to the patient. An EOC of a patient may include all services, products, and outcomes that are related to a particular medical condition or complaint of the patient over a period of time. Embodiments of the present invention may model multiple EOCs for the same patient and may model EOCs for multiple patients. Predictions and recommendations may be made based on the EOC data, possibly in addition to external data outside of the EOC.

  • Publication number: 20150269339
Abstract: A computer-based system and method improves the efficiency (quality and/or cost) of healthcare services provided to a patient by dynamically adapting the tests that are performed on the patient. Such adaptation may include one or both of selecting the tests to be performed and modifying the contents and/or methods of the tests to be performed. Tests may be adapted based on a wide variety of data, such as any one or more of sensor data, coordination data, clinical data, contextual data, test outcome data, clinical outcome data, and epoch of care data. In particular, tests may be adapted based on data in a model of an epoch of care of the patient so that the tests are selected and/or modified in ways that are tailored to the patient's epoch of care.

Embodiments of the present invention may model multiple epochs of care for the same patient and may model epochs of care for multiple patients.
