Abstract: A control element is provided for a gearbox ratio selector in a heavy vehicle of the type in which the gearbox ratio selector is operated by means of a pair of pneumatic cylinders having opposite rods and chambers controlled from the handle of the gearshift lever. The pneumatic cylinders are controlled through an intermediate device between the cylinders and the distributor valve included in the handle of the gearshift lever, so that the activating fluid of the cylinders is independent of the fluid in the handle of the gearshift lever. The distributor valves are connected to control valves advantageously incorporated in the intermediate body provided between the parts opposite to the outlet of the rods in the operating cylinders of the selector.

Abstract: A system for starting internal combustion engines which increases the kinetic energy of the molecules of air in the interior of the cylinders of the engine by introducing more air molecules from the exterior. Previous to and during starting, the final temperature of the compressed air within the cylinders of the engine is increased by means of an initial precompression of the air within the intake manifold. During the admission of such air into the cylinders of the engine, precompression within the intake manifold is caused by the injection of compressed air from the exterior.

Abstract: In thrust chambers of a recompressor piston are arranged ports which are joined to conduits leading to opposite fronts of the distributor piston of a five way valve. Flow passages lead to thrust chambers provided with conduits which, through a unidirectional valve, penetrate along the interior of a coaxial stem to the recompressor piston, and constitute fixed variators of the volume in the recompression chambers when the recompressor piston is cyclically displaced.

Abstract: A washing machine for a printing or processing table including an arrangement of two complementary carriages, each one of which rests on a lateral rail provided along opposite sides of the table for the tracking of the carriages. The carriages are solidly fixed to each other by means of a bridge element comprised of two telescopically arranged tubular bodies which are provided with adjustment and fixing means capable of securing the coupling of the tubular bodies to any relative dimension between two points, one of which is of maximum approximation while the other is of maximum separation. Each one of the carriages is provided with a cantilever arm directed inwardly of the table, which arms are longer than half the width of the table and support a plurality of circular brushes, each of the brushes being provided with a gear.

Abstract: A screen processing machine has a frame supporting a printing screen which is capable of upward or downward movement. The frame pivots along one side thereof transverse to the longitudinal direction of transverse of a carriage, while the opposite side of the frame has lifting means provided in the carriage which are formed from two rigid laterals or sides having transverse end pieces and which form a cradle wherein the frame is situated. The frame is reinforced with two rigid heads, solidly fixed thereto at the external portion of the sides thereof transverse to the advance direction of the carriage. Such heads form elements wherein supports from which the frame is suspended are solidly fixed. The frame has parallel guides along which aligned supports slide, each one of which a vertical column which constitutes a guide element for lifting devices supporting a squeegee or stripper bridge.
