  • Publication number: 20120167371
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the construction of fire and sound resistant modular walls and partitions with panels (1) forming partitions (T) or doors (P), formed by a central core (2) on which there are bonded two insulating layers (3) made of plaster, cork or another fire and sound insulating material, two overlays (4) made of fiberboard, encased in protective film (5) made of aluminum, and respective outer finishing layers (8) which are smooth or decorated with inlaid wood (9) or moldings. The doors (P) are incorporated in a metallic casing (12) fixed to the floor and ceiling, made of metallic tubes (13) forming a grid with the same fire and sound resistance. To reinforce the panel (1) against stresses, a reinforcement layer (6) made of Tablex or the like is intercalated in the core. For a bearing partition, steel plates (7) are incorporated.

  • Publication number: 20110239583
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the transport, handling, positioning and fixing of floor-to-ceiling prefabricated construction elements to form fire-resistant internal walls or partitions in constructions of any type, including naval construction, comprising the transfer and positioning of each panel (10) by means of transfer truck (1), optionally provided for panels (10) of more than 50 kg with an extendable rotary crane (3) holding them; the placement of a bolt (11) fixed to the ceiling and a sleeve (13) having an internal thread, and on the floor (S) a concrete bedplate (12), fixed by means of screws (18), incorporating in the upper edge of the panel (10) a metal bracket (20) having an inverted U section, fitted to the sleeve (13), and filling the space (14) existing between the panel (10) and the ceiling with concrete.

  • Publication number: 20100199587
Abstract: The invention relates to a window construction and installation system, including: glued laminated wood profiles (1) forming the vertical parts or jambs (1a) and the horizontal parts (1b) upper lintel and lower sill, of the frame (or pre-frame, where appropriate); profiles (2) forming the vertical parts or posts (2a) and the horizontal parts or transoms (2b) of the leaf or leaves; and profiles (3) forming pane-separating bars, all of which are suitably finished, even with paint and/or varnish, and dimensioned to be 10 or 15 cm longer than required, having only one of the ends thereof machined, finished with a chamfer (4), with mortises (5) and attachment tenons (6) and dowels (7), keys or with a detachable spline or wedge (8), leaving the opposite end as is, ready for in situ assembly once the exact size of the opening or reveal is known.

  • Publication number: 20080230239
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for the rapid combustion of the fire load within reach of a fire and of the hot gases and smoke produced by the fire. The invention involves installing an external sheet and an internal sheet of reinforced concrete along the perimeter of, or at points along, the partitions, walls or facing of a building. The sheets are separated by an air chamber acting as a chimney. According to the invention, a chimney is connected to the chamber and to an inlet. The chimney also includes an outlet which is connected to the shaft or central duct thereof. The invention also includes an independent air chamber which is disposed in the external sheet external to the façade.

  • Patent number: 6761225
Abstract: A security disposition against fire applicable for delaying, retaining, controlling and extinguishing the action of fire by means of moisture, with water as its basic extinguishing element. It consists of a part that is made of metal or any other material with identical resistance, upon which water distribution pipes are placed, and is equipped with distributors that have access to the partition or similar construction. The distribution pipes are joined by connecting piping, which at the same time is connected to a supply pipe. On the connecting piping, between the supply pipe and the distribution pipes, is an open/close electrovalve that is activated by conventional fire detecting methods, temperature or smoke, in addition to a purge valve that is activated manually.
