    Abstract: A protective device for a human palm that can be utilized when engaging in various activities. The device can protect the palm from damaging and/or stressful impact to the nerves of the hand by acting as a shock absorber and being adapted to withstand a predetermined amount of force.     Abstract: The importance of fire safety equipment and systems is great as they protect buildings and the people within those buildings from the danger of fire. Regular testing of these systems is highly important to ensure their ability to provide such protection. However, current fire safety equipment, especially fire and smoke alarms require manual activation to be tested and are located out of reach for such testing to be done easily and conveniently. The present device provides a means to test fire safety equipment and systems without the need to reach the device manually, rather this device allows fire safety equipment and systems to be tested through the use of a remote switch which can be conveniently located and easily reached.
