  • Publication number: 20180333649
Abstract: An improved traction wheel structure for a motorized toy vehicle adapted to travel along tracks, rails, wires, strings or the like having vertical top edges or diameters, the wheels being provided with a V-shaped annular traction channel defined by laterally extending traction members extending from the sides of a primary annular channel. The toy vehicle is part of a set having at least two track members with vertical top edges, the track members being connected by a surface guide member.

  • Patent number: 6880286
Abstract: The present invention is directed to providing self-propelled casting within a fishing apparatus that is the functional replacement of a conventional rod and reel combination. The system and method of the present invention advantageously include utilization of a self-propelled casting apparatus that employs a constant torque spring motor to provide a flat torque/force response both in the loading and releasing phases of a casting cycle. The casting apparatus employs a point-and-release method of safely and accurately casting a bobber or other article of fishing tackle over a specified distance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 29, 2003
Date of Patent: April 19, 2005

  • Patent number: 5954348
Abstract: A roller skate is disclosed which has three modes of operation. A first mode in which the roller skate may move both forward and backwards, a second mode in which the skate may roll forward only and a third mode in which the skate is prevented from rolling in either direction. A pair of locking rods are disposed in the lower chassis of the skate. The locking rods are adapted to be wedged against a locking surface of a wheel on the skate such to affect the three modes of operation as described.

  • Patent number: 5542668
Abstract: A slot track raceway has two side-by-side slots for enabling two racing cars to run around a closed loop track. A lap counter individually associated with each closed loop is set to a selected number of laps for establishing the length of a race. Each completion of a lap causes the associated lap counter to count down. When the lap counter counts down to zero, a spring biased hinged track section snaps into alignment with an upwardly inclined ramp so that the car winning the race flies off the track, thus escaping or leaping from the track.

  • Patent number: 5334073
Abstract: A toy figure has a torso with a plurality of removable, spring-biased appendages. Each appendage inserted into the torso with connectors. Each of the connectors includes a groove for receiving a movable detent to attach the appendages to the torso. The front of the toy figure contains two buttons which are actuated upon application of a force. When an upper button is actuated, three spring detents move out of engagement with the connector grooves causing both arms and the head appendages to be simultaneously released and biased outwardly from the torso. When a lower button is actuated, two spring detents move out of engagement with connector grooves, causing both leg appendages to be simultaneously released and biased outwardly from the torso.

  • Patent number: 4513966
Abstract: A toy vehicle jump includes a launching ramp and a landing ramp for an independently propelled toy vehicle, and an adjusting device for changing the orientation of one of the ramps from an operative position, in which a vehicle can negotiate the jump, to an inoperative position, in which the landing ramp does not accept a vehicle launched from the launching ramp. In a preferred embodiment of the vehicle jump, a jump structure, each comprising a launching ramp and a landing ramp, is provided for each of two vehicles travelling in adjacent lanes, and the adjusting device for each jump structure includes an actuator for increasing the angle of inclination of the respective landing ramp one step each time it is passed by a vehicle in the adjacent lane, until it reaches the inoperative position.

  • Patent number: 4423871
Abstract: The toy vehicle game includes a track, a toy vehicle for operation thereon, and a launcher for launching the vehicle to propel it along the track. The track includes a start position at which the launcher is located and an end position, located above the start position, whereby a vehicle launched onto the track at the start position traverses the track to the end position, above the start position. The track includes a pivoted section at the end position having a center of gravity located such that it normally is in a horizontal position but will pivot when the toy vehicle moves onto it, thereby to deposit the vehicle down onto the start position of the track and return it to the launcher for relaunching onto the track.
