  • Patent number: 11324087
Abstract: A method for driving a set of light emitting diodes (LEDs) may include receiving a write access frame by a driver via a bus configured for connection with a controller and the driver. The write access frame includes brightness information. The method may further include controlling, by the driver, the set of LEDs based on the brightness information and determining, by the driver, safety information while controlling the set of LEDs based on the brightness information. The method may further include outputting, by the driver and at the bus, the safety information to acknowledge receipt of the write access frame.

  • Patent number: 9138536
Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring a vascular access includes a dialysis circuit having a venous needle and a blood pump of a peristaltic type which generates oscillatory perturbations in the circuit. An optical sensor, arranged on a patient's body by the venous needle, perceives the perturbations transmitted through the needle and sends a pulsating signal to an analysis device. The absence of a pulsating signal indicates a detachment of the needle.

  • Patent number: 8618450
Abstract: A domestic oven comprises heating means, a gas sensor connected to a central processing and control unit and a user interface connected to the central processing unit by means of which the user can set the type of food placed in the oven compartment. The user interface comprises means for setting the desired degree of cooking of the food and is capable of processing the signal of the gas sensor in such a way as to determine the optimal cooking end time of the food. The central processing unit interrupts the electrical supply to the heating means on the basis either of said cooking end time, modified if necessary on the basis of degree of cooking set by the user, or of the food type set by the user.

  • Patent number: 8366648
Abstract: A medical connector (18) has a visual signal (67) formed by a colored screen-applied band arranged on a bolt (63). In a correct engaged position of the bolt (63) with an external element, the signal is visible. In an incorrect engaged position, the part of the bolt (63) bearing the signal is lowered, so that the signal is hidden from view, providing an indication of a faulty situation. The medical connector serves to connect the end of a dialysate supply tube to an inlet port of a dialyser.

  • Patent number: 6786058
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control device for a household electrical appliance. The control device has an interface configured to enable a user to set or modify parameters of one or more operational members of the appliance by a command and control circuit in communication with the appliance. The interface has a one or more selectors arranged to enable setting or modifying of the parameters of the appliance. The selectors are connected to a resonant electrical circuit arranged to generate or to respond to a radio-frequency signal in a modifiable manner representative of the setting or modification effected by the user. The signal also being sensed by a sensor associated with the command and control circuit, which enables the command and control circuit to set or modify in an appropriate manner the parameters of the operational members for controlled operation of the household electrical appliance.
