A rack is disposed in the compartment and extends upwardly from the shelf. The rack is dimensioned and configured to support at least a pair of shoulder pads and preferably both pads and a helmet. The rack optionally includes a ventilation system, and the ventilation system may be incorporated into a multi-locker ventilation system. The locker also include a quick drying shoe drawer that is located in the bottom left of the locker. The drawer is dimensioned and configured to support at least a pair of shoes and other small equipment. The drawer also has a ventilation system pushing air through it to dry and deodorize the equipment being stored in it.

Abstract: A self-lit door for a locker includes a substrate panel having a top edge and a side edge that are generally straight and connected by a corner. A non-uniform texture is formed on an exterior of the substrate panel at a location relative to the top edge and the side edge. An edge light is positioned relative to at least one of the top edge and the side edge and is in optical communication with the substrate panel through an optical coupling interface. Light introduced through an optically functional edge surface of the substrate panel propagates internally within the substrate panel and interacts with the non-uniform texture to emit visible illumination. In some embodiments, the texture defines illuminated indicia relative to surrounding regions of the substrate panel.
