  • Publication number: 20240242805
Abstract: A system and method for providing compliance predictions for using a respiratory pressure therapy device in a treatment regimen is disclosed. The system includes a respiratory pressure therapy device having a transmitter and an air control device to provide respiratory therapy to a patient. The respiratory pressure therapy device collects operational data and transmits the collected operational data. Demographic data of the patient is collected. A predicted compliance with the treatment regimen is determined based on inputting operational data and demographic data to a machine learning compliance prediction model having a compliance prediction output. The machine learning model is trained from the operational data and demographic data of a population of patients using respiratory pressure therapy devices.

  • Patent number: 11757299
Abstract: Methods and system include power harvesting with process and device monitoring. A power management system including a solar cell can be integrated with a display panel into a common housing. A capacitor and a rechargeable battery connected to the power management system can receive power from the solar cell and provide electrical power, first from the capacitor and then second from the rechargeable battery, to electronic components including the display engaged in monitoring processes and devices deployed in isolated locations. Electronics can include a microprocessor programmed to provide collected data display on the display panel and wireless transmission to a remote monitoring station. A rotatable stem operated by a step-motor and connected to the common housing can orient the integrated display and solar cell towards sunlight according to an internal time clock synchronizing movement of the display panel via a step motor and thereby maximize harvesting of electrical energy.

  • Patent number: 11668116
Abstract: A door handle set includes a handle assembly having a primary lock and having a handle rotatable about a primary rotational axis. A latch bolt assembly has a latch bolt. The latch bolt assembly is operatively coupled to the handle assembly, wherein a rotation of the handle results in a linear translation of the latch bolt. A supplemental lock has a second axis parallel to, and spaced apart from, the primary rotational axis. The supplemental lock has an actuator that is operable relative to the second axis. The supplemental lock is configured to selectively block the rotation of the handle regardless of the locking state of the primary lock.

  • Publication number: 20220304929
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a lipid having a net charge at physiological pH, and being covalently attached to a lipid moiety. The lipid moiety comprises a hydrocarbon structure having two or more linked hydrocarbon chains, optionally having cis or trans C?C, at least one of said chains being covalently attached to the head group optionally via the linker region. The hydrocarbon chains are bonded to one another at a branch point at an internal carbon of the chain attached to the linker region, which branch point comprises a functional group having an electronegative atom. The hydrocarbon chains each have between 1 and 40 carbon atoms, wherein the hydrocarbon structure in total comprises between 10 and 150 carbon atoms. Advantageously, the hydrocarbon structure may assume a generally flared shape for enhanced delivery of cargo molecules. Further provided are delivery vehicles comprising the lipids.

  • Publication number: 20150308246
Abstract: A process for hydrocarbon recovery from a hydrocarbon-bearing formation utilizing an injection well for the injection of a mobilizing and displacing fluid, such as steam, into the formation and a production well, spaced from the injection well, and through which hydrocarbon is recovered. The process includes injecting a surfactant and a gas into the production well for a first period of time to thereby emplace or form foam to an extent sufficient to modify the path of flow in an inter-well region between the injection well and the production well and in an area spaced from the inter-well region of the reservoir, which area is in fluid communication with at least one of the injection well and the production well. The process also includes injecting fluid into the injection well to cause the flow of hydrocarbon in the formation and recovering the hydrocarbon through the production well.
