Patent number: 11349585Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and storage media for providing recommendations for an advertisement campaign are described. In one instance, an apparatus for providing recommendations for an advertisement campaign may include a campaign outcome index provision engine communicatively coupled to one or more processors, to generate a campaign outcome index (COI) associated with the advertisement campaign, based at least in part on a ratio between an actual outcome key performance indicator (KPI) associated with the advertisement campaign; and a baseline outcome KPI that reflects an expected average performance of the advertisement campaign; and a recommendation engine, communicatively coupled to the one or more processors, to provide recommendations to adjust a use of advertisements in the advertisement campaign, during the advertisement campaign, based at least in part on the generated COI. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2021Date of Patent: May 31, 2022Assignee: ISPOT.TV, INC.Inventors: Sean Muller, Stuart Schwartzapfel, Kachuen Sam Hui, Jason Harrington, John McCloskey, Joseph Samuel Marcus

Publication number: 20120324504Abstract: Systems and methods for providing parental controls in a cloud-based media guidance application may provide users with compiled listings of the user's content and parental controls for accessing that and other content based on the user equipment devices from which the content access request is received. A user may identify remote storage providers at which user content is stored, and may provide criteria for limiting or preauthorizing access to selected content by one or more user equipment devices. In response to receiving a user request, a listing of content stored with the remote storage providers may be compiled and presented in a media guidance application. A selection of any one of the user's content, as well as a selection of any other content listed in the media guidance application, may be subject to access control criteria applicable to the user equipment device from which the selection was received.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2011Publication date: December 20, 2012Applicant: UNITED VIDEO PROPERTIES, INC.Inventors: Kuan Hidalgo Archer, Lloyd Dakin, Sam Hui, Neel Suhas Ketkar, Walter R. Klappert, Bo Hye Lee, Sean Charles Penn, Ben Ziskind, Bin Zhao

Patent number: 6723465Abstract: A nonaqueous electrolyte batter includes: an electrode body having at least a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a cylindrical container with its bottom closed, in which the electrode body and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution are contained; and a lid body for closing an opening portion of the container. The lid body has a lid portion which constitutes a peripheral edge portion of the lid body, a projecting portion which constitutes a central portion of the lid body, and a stepped portion which has a vent hole and is positioned between the lid portion and the projecting portion. A metal plate having a through-hole is disposed between the lid body and the electrolyte body. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent the movement of the battery by a motive force generated when a decomposition gas generated in an abnormal state is discharged to the outside of the battery.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2001Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Ken Segawa, Akira Toda, Yoshinori Ito, Emi Yamada, Yukio Miyaki, Takashi Tomita, Sam Huy
