Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for evaluating medical condition insurability risk are provided. A digital communication including an indication of a medical condition associated with an individual is received. A presumptive medical condition risk score is generated for the individual based on the indication of the medical condition and presumptive medical condition risk criteria. One or more medical records associated with the individual are retrieved via a data storage device. A composite medical condition risk score for the individual is generated based on the one or more medical records, and a correlation between the presumptive medical condition risk score and the composite medical condition risk score is determined.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for generating a selected pool of underwritten insurance policies are provided. A normative risk element associated with data in a plurality of normalized medical reports is identified. A magnitude of the normative risk element is determined for each of the plurality of normalized medical reports. A plurality of risk performance standards are generated that correlate with the magnitude of the normative risk element for each of the plurality of medical reports, and a plurality of underwritten insurance policies are selected based on the plurality of risk performance standards or metrics, wherein the plurality of underwritten insurance policies comprise one of a synthetic or engineered pool of underwritten insurance policies.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for implementing a shared medical data platform are provided. A shared medical data platform may be implemented by effecting processing of a medical file to generate a medical report. Data regarding the medical report is distributed to a plurality of insurance underwriters, wherein the data is used to facilitate a bidding or quotation process between the plurality of insurance underwriters to offer insurance underwriting services to a client associated with the medical report. A fee is determined for effecting processing of the medical file, and payment of the fee by at least one of the plurality of insurance underwriters is facilitated based on whether the bidding or quotation process results in an offer of insurance underwriting services to the client associated with the medical report.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for medical record processing are provided. Medical record processing may be implemented by performing data-point analysis on a medical file to generate a data-point file. The data-point file is automatically coded to generate a coded file. The medical file may be preprocessed prior to performing data-point analysis, and non-relevant information may be removed from the medical file. Data-point analysis may be performed based on a predefined data-point specification.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and system for storing data wherein pieces of data are selectively combined at times when a storage device is not able to accept requests to store data for a duration sufficient that multiple additional pieces of data have been received since the last request to store data was made and at least two of those pieces of data are able to be combined into a piece of data that is better configured for storage.

Abstract: An embodiment of a system logic device for improving memory bandwidth utilization in a computer system with an isochronous data stream includes a FIFO for the isochronous data stream. The FIFO includes two watermarks. When the data level of the FIFO falls below a first watermark level, a low priority request is issued to a memory controller. If the data level of the FIFO falls below a second watermark level, a high priority memory request is issued to the memory controller. The low priority memory request is assigned the lowest priority level by the memory controller. The high priority request is assigned the highest priority level by the memory controller. The low priority request allows the isochronous data stream to retrieve small amounts of data from memory without negatively impacting overall system performance while the high priority request allows the isochronous data stream to retrieve larger amounts of data from memory within a fixed time in order to ensure that the FIFO never completely drains.
