    Abstract: An operator for swing-door employs an electronic control unit for controlling the operation of a motor. The motor is bi-directionally driven at various speeds for opening, closing, braking and maintaining a given position of an associated swing-door. The motor drive shaft is mechanically connected via a timing belt/pulley system with an operator shaft for transmitting torque to a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly is configured to provide a high mechanical advantage at the fully opened and fully closed positions of the associated swing-door.
