  • Patent number: 4400006
Abstract: A golf bag having an elongated container with a retractable rolling assembly coupled to the container. The rolling assembly can be moved between an extended position and a retracted folded position. A locking device securely retains the entire rolling assembly in its folded position. A locking arrangement locks the entire rolling assembly in its extended position. A detachable wheel is connected at each end of the shaft of the rolling assembly by a floating ring positioned about a reduced diameter portion of the shaft. The ring is normally maintained by gravity in an interference position wherein it extends beneath the periphery of the shaft to prevent removal of the wheel. The ring can be manually aligned with the shaft to permit the wheel to be mounted on and removed from the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4382612
Abstract: A rollable golf bag having an elongated golf bag container with a collapsible rolling assembly coupled to the container. The collapsible rolling assembly is movable between an extended position to permit rolling of the container, and a folded position to facilitate carrying of the container. Wheels connected on the rolling assembly are detachable and can be stored within a storage compartment of the container.

  • Patent number: 4326575
Abstract: A waste receptacle, such as a disposable container, having a collapsible cylindrical bag with an upper rigid shaping ring secured at its upper end and a rigid ringed base member secured at its lower end. A stand includes gripping members which engage exposed portions of the upper ring and the ringed base member for retaining the disposable container in an upstanding position for use in receiving waste.

  • Patent number: 4044818
Abstract: Automatic sand mold fabricating apparatus and a method for using the apparatus is disclosed. The present invention provides at least a first cope and a first drag. Preferably, first and second copes and first and second drags are used. Where two pairs of copes and drags are utilized, the first pair will be filled at two diametrically opposed stations while the other pair will be positioned at one of two ejection stations that are both 90.degree. spaced apart from the first and second stations. The pairs of copes and drags alternate between the filling stations that are diametrically opposed to each other and the ejection stations which are 90.degree. away.

  • Patent number: 3975959
Abstract: A gauge for measuring fluid pressure having a housing containing a dial plate provided with pressure readings thereon, and a pointer to indicate the pressure readings. The pointer is rotated by a cylindrical member connected thereto. The cylindrical member is associated with a plunger against which the fluid pressure is exerted. A coil spring exerts a spring pressure on the plunger for determining movement of the plunger in a linear direction to any one of predetermined positions corresponding to associated fluid pressures. The spring characteristic causes the predetermined positions to be non-proportional to the associated fluid pressures. The plunger is provided with at least one guide groove corresponding to the spring characteristic for relating non-proportional linear positions to radial positions which are proportional to the associated fluid pressures.
