Patent number: 11926070Abstract: Embodiments include a bar for a chain saw that is equipped with one or more oil channels that run along the length of the bar. Each oil channel receives oil at a first end, which exits the oil channel at an oil exit aperture at a second end of the channel. The oil exit aperture of one of the channels is positioned along the side of a bar groove, through which runs the saw chain, proximate to the cutting area of the bar to lubricate the saw chain just prior to the cutting area. A second channel may have an oil exit aperture proximate to the nose of the bar, to lubricate a sprocket wheel in the nose of the bar.Type: GrantFiled: November 11, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Oregon Tool, Inc.Inventors: Eric M. Patent number: 10071758Abstract: A load transporting apparatus is described including: a main body; a ground engaging wheel positioned at or towards one end of the main body and supported for rotation about a generally horizontal axis; a support member, which is connected to the main body, and which supports a pair of wheel assemblies, each assembly including a wheel which is supported for rotation about a generally horizontal wheel axis, wherein said wheel assembly permits the wheel to swivel about a swivel axis which is substantially perpendicular to the wheel axis and off-set therefrom; wherein the support member is connected to the main body by connection means which permits movement of the main body towards and away from the support member. Also described is an apparatus where the or a further connection means is configured to permit rotation of the support member relative to the main body about an axis which extends generally in a fore-aft direction of the apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2014Date of Patent: September 11, 2018Assignee: M-MOVER HOLDINGS LIMITEDInventors: Jason Derrick Fowler, Sam Matthew Dance, Andrew John Owen

Patent number: 8400256Abstract: A hand covering that may be in the form of a glove includes at least one finger receptacle having a sheath wall with an external surface and an internal surface, an outer strand having a metallic component and an inner strand. The outer strand includes a portion that extends into the sheath wall of the receptacle such that the portion of the outer strand does not cross the interior surface of the sheath wall of the receptacle. The outer strand and the inner strand are associated with one another such that, when a finger of a user is accommodated in the at least one receptacle, an electrical conductivity path exists that includes the finger of the user, the inner strand, and the outer strand.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2010Date of Patent: March 19, 2013Inventor: Sam Matthews
