  • Publication number: 20240168471
Abstract: A test system includes a repository of component models containing characteristic parameters for each component model, one or more processors to receive a list of selected component models through a user interface to be tested as a combination, access the characteristic parameters for each selected component model, build a tensor image using the characteristic parameters, send the tensor image to one or more trained neural networks to predict interoperability of the combination, and receive a prediction about the combination. A method includes receiving a list of selected component models through a user interface to be tested as a combination, accessing characteristic parameters for the selected component models, building a tensor image for each combination of the selected component models, sending the tensor image to one or more trained neural networks to predict interoperability of the combination, and receiving a prediction about the combination.

  • Patent number: 8727156
Abstract: A package suitable for storing liquids therein, having a pocket (16) being formed between superposed front and rear sheets (10; 12), which are joined together peripherally by a liquid-tight seal (14), a top package portion comprising an end of a neck portion (20), which extends from the pocket (16), a top part (22) of the neck portion (20) being narrower than the pocket (16), at least one reinforcement portion (28) being arranged at the top package portion and extending on at least one side of the top part (22) of the next portion (20). The front sheet (10) and the rear sheet (12) each have a substantially uniform rupture strength along the extension of the pocket (16) and the neck portion (20). In order to open the package, the neck portion (20) is ruptured by bending the top package portion backwards.

  • Patent number: 6814399
Abstract: An apparatus for aligning and supporting a rotatable shaft through a plastic molded support member includes an integral boss formed in the plastic molded support allowing insertion of the rotatable shaft to be supported therethrough. At least one bearing is associated with the boss for establishing proper orientation of a rotational axis of the rotatable shaft to be mounted through the boss. At least one bearing is press fit into the boss. In the preferred configuration, a pair of hat-shaped cylindrical bearings are press fit in opposite ends of the boss to define the rotational axis of the shaft to be mounted through the boss.
