    Abstract: An anemometer fabric which changes appearance under aerodynamic stress is disclosed and claimed. The composite fabrics typically include a support fabric with a plurality of dual surfaced tabs overlaying the fabric. The tabs have different colors on each side and are secured so that an applied aerodynamic force will flip the tabs, thereby changing fabric color.
